Does Vascura Pain & Vein Clinic accept insurance?

Vascura Pain & Vein Clinic is an out-of-network (OON) practice, meaning we are not contracted directly with insurance companies.
However, many patients with PPO and out-of-network benefits can still receive partial reimbursement through their insurance plan. We also directly accept workers’ compensation and no-fault PIP cases. Contact our office to discuss your specific coverage before
your visit.

As an out-of-network provider, Vascura Pain & Vein Clinic does not have a contracted rate with insurance companies — patients are billed directly and may submit ciaims for reimbursement if their plan includes out-of-network benefits. Under the NJ Out-of-Network Consumer Protection Act (P.L.2018, ¢.32), patients have rights regarding balance billing and cost transparency. Our
team will provide a clear cost estimate before treatment

Yes , Vascura Pain & Vein Clinic directly accepts New Jersey workers’ compensation cases. Dr. Babus evaluates and treats work-related injuries including back pain, disc injuries, nerve damage and joint conditions. Workers’ comp billing is handled directly with the insurance carrier  injured employees are not responsible for out-of-pocket costs for authorized treatment

Medically necessary vein treatment  including radiofrequency ablation, Varithena and sclerotherapy for symptomatic varicose
veins  is typically covered by insurance when appropriate documentation supports the diagnosis. Purely cosmetic treatment of ‘asymptomatic spider veins is generally not covered. We help patients understand their out-of-network benefits and obtain any
required pre-authorization
